Goal: To provide public education throughout San Mateo County through a variety of community outreach programs.
Objectives:
- Revise and update FPO website
- Create fire safety advertisements on SamTrans buses
- Produce county-wide PSA’s
- Provide support at fundraisers and events produced by agencies within our county
- Monthly County-alert safety messages

Goal: Develop county-wide standardized fire prevention policies/specifications.
Objectives:
- Complete county-wide fire sprinkler ordinance
- Report to Chiefs UWI ordinance and inspection criteria being used in the county.
- Present model code for photovoltaic systems in conjunction with county building officials

Goal: Provide continuing Fire Prevention training and education to develop the skills of fire personnel throughout the County.
Objectives:
- Provide in-house quarterly training
- Provide specialized training when necessary (i.e. PV systems, codes, current issues)
- Co-host ICC classes
- Provide instructors for fire academy
General Membership:
- Host a monthly NorCal meeting
- Host joint meeting with county building officials
- Have joint meeting with Santa Clara County FPO’s
